Visiting Assistant Professor (International Relations)

The Department of Government at Cornell University invites applications for two one-year, full-time Visiting Assistant Professors in International Relations to begin July 1, 2024. Candidates must have research specializations in international political economy and/or security studies. A Ph.D. in political science is required no later than June 30, 2024.


Successful candidates will each teach three courses during academic year 2024-25 and be expected to undertake usual duties associated with departmental teaching.


Interested candidates should submit a letter of application, curriculum vitae, samples of written work, and three letters of recommendation, as well as teaching evaluations and a sample course syllabus for an undergraduate semester-long course in either IPE or security studies, if available to Academic Jobs Online:.

[Pay Range: $88,000-$98,000] Actual salary offers in the College of Arts and Sciences will be based on education, experience, discipline, and relevant skills.
