Position Description

PAR is searching for an experienced Business Analyst to join the Program Management Office ("PMO") to help establish a culture of understanding the business requirements around the programs and projects we assist with.

A successful Business Analyst will be skilled at Client-Centric Requirements Gathering by working closely with our business stakeholders to understand their unique needs and challenges and the requirements around their requests that come into the PMO. The Business Analyst will also be responsible for understanding how their assigned projects relate to other business users and systems within PAR. The Business Analyst will work alongside our project managers to translate these requirements into detailed, actionable plans ensuring that our solutions are perfectly tailored to their needs as well as the Technical Writer to ensure processes are clearly documented.

The Business Analyst's customer will be our internal business stakeholders. In addition to project charters and project documentation the Business Analyst will also be responsible for employing advanced stakeholder communication by engaging with stakeholders at all levels, from C-suite executives to end-users. Communications must be tailored to the communication style to each audience, while ensuring clarity and effectiveness in conveying complex technical concepts.

Projects assigned to the Business Analyst will require collaboration between the business and development team. This position will work hand-in-hand with product owners to ensure that the technical aspects of assigned projects align seamlessly with business requirements and customer expectations.

As we continue to grow the PMO, the Business Analyst will be responsible for making recommendations on standards for project documentation and process improvements. This includes documents such as Project Charters, Project Documentation, Decision Matrices, and process flows.

The base salary range for this position is $87,300 to $131,497 USD per year commensurate with work location, experience, skills, certifications, education and prior accomplishments. This position may be eligible for additional compensation including a bonus, commission and/or equity as applicable.

What We're Looking For

  • 5 years of experience working in a Business Analyst role supporting multiple business units
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High EQ and ability to work comfortably in a quickly adapting business environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience working with business stakeholders to identify and document project requirements
  • Ability to work with multiple groups and track priorities in an ever-evolving environment

What You will Do and Be Responsible For

  • Maintaining a strong working relationship with our business stakeholders
  • Completion of requirement documentation and related process documentation for the projects you are assigned to
  • Understanding the broader impact of projects you are assigned to beyond that of the specific stakeholder and identifying risks of a proposed solution
  • Assisting with scoping and planning discussions as your projects proceed to development
