Summary:

The PC Support Specialist is an intermediate IT technical position with 2+ years related experience in a technical or business role working in a team environment. Responsibilities include maintaining and supporting the end users and workstation environment at a specific location or potentially multiple manufacturing plants. The position provides installation, maintenance, and general support of hardware and software at a Tier 2 Level. It also supports end users with advanced questions or problems by identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems in response to submitted support requests. The Digital and IT Analyst is responsible for documenting, tracking, and monitoring problems to ensure timely resolution.

Your Role:

  • On Site Point of contact (POC) for IT Support with internal and external customers.
  • Communicate procedures for proper utilization of digital and IT solutions.
  • Assist in onboarding and training new employees/users.
  • Ability to communicate, lead projects, and perform critical analysis under limited supervision.
  • Understand how applications and technologies are utilized within the business.
  • Participate in multiple teams/projects, demonstrate complex problem-solving techniques along with the understanding of one or more technical/functional business areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • IT Infrastructure support PC, servers, firewall, switches, circuits, endpoints, Wi-Fi as examples
  • Assist in manufacturing equipment technical troubleshooting.
  • Manage expectations, recommend modifications of basic IT systems to improve and simplify.
  • Drive adherence to IT security compliance.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline.
  • 2+ years' experience in Information Technology with industry recognized certifications preferred.
  • VMWare experience.
  • Experience managing Enterprise backup processes and software.
  • Active Directory knowledge.
  • Robust understanding and heavy experience with DHCP, DNS, GPO and other key technical connectivity protocols.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Customer service focused.
  • Good organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with multiple teams.
  • Provide after-hour technical support as needed.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps.

Additional skillsets preferred:

  • Expertise with simple to complex SQL queries
  • PowerShell Scripting
  • Experience with MS Power BI, Data Flows, Data Marts
  • Experience with MS Power Automate
